Announcing: OP hires Soil and Water Scientists courtesy of the Claire M. Hubbard Foundation

We are proud to present our newly hired staff for the 2018 year. Our Water scientist/farmer Chris Madden and Soil scientist/farmer Dan Harvey are excited to lead our volunteer groups through Citizen Science programs and events this summer on our many vacant lots throughout eastern Nebraska.

Thanks to the generous support of the Claire M. Hubbard Foundation, OP is able to employ Chris, Dan and a Doane University intern towards the creation of a surprise, 'ToBeAnnounced' landscape publication. This publication will create a foundation for future years of landscape endeavors with Omaha Permaculture.

Growing food, cultivating the regeneration of soil and nurturing ecological habitats are the goals for this landscape publication project. Through this all-important building-block project, OP is excited to unleash our Citizen Science team in Nebraska to maintain healthy and clean environments for all living things to enjoy.

Citizen Science is for everyone. Knowledge is power and nature is the best teacher. Please inquire at info@OmahaPermaculture.org if you would like to be involved this growing season. Thanks for following us!
